I’m this mom as well. My son was in soccer for 3 years and I finally said no more. It was just too much to juggle dinner, practice, and homework. Sorry, after school is just a wind down time here. I did let him join Lego Robotics Club but that’s only because he can walk to the meetings by himself.

I will buy you whatever you want for the club but I will not be there to serve chili or whatever at the fundraisers. I’d rather pour a pot of chili on my head than do that.

Sorry kids, your mom is an introvert and avoids people as much as possible. Do you want a fun mom or play sports? Because you can’t have both.
